More than 23 years ago, in August 2000, a new AutoZone project unique in the world opened its doors in Chihuahua with just 35 AutoZoners: a data processing center for the Store Support Center (SSC). AutoZone in Memphis, Tennessee.

With the growth of AutoZone's operation globally, more services were required, integrating customer service, financial administration and technology solutions for all sales channels.

In 2023, what was known as DATAZONE evolved into AutoZone Business & Technology Store Support Center, establishing itself as a Center of Excellence to support the operation of stores in the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Brazil. We currently have two locations in the city of Chihuahua and more than 1,400 AutoZoners with the best talent to support the company's operations globally.
